Our Committees

Founded and run by volunteers, our committee members are local creative leaders giving their insight and enthusiasm to our cause. We are looking for people to help us grow the vision of iMAGINE Alexandria. See below for a committee you may be interested and email the chair. We are looking forward to your future involvement!

iMAGINE Operations

This committee is tasked with systematically putting processes and structures in place to further define the organization. We will create a membership structure, finalize and implement a business plan, create a long term plan for iMAGINE, manage and implement board structure and data. iMAGINE Large

iMAGINE Large will plan and build a facility as well as develop a long term road map for iMAGINE. We will work with area developers and city officials as well as the Operations Committee to develop the business plan. iMAGINE Large will continue to motivate and lead the organization in the development of iMAGINE. iMAGINE Lite

The iMAGINE Lite committee will define, acquire, and develop interim space for iMAGINE Alexandria as well as define the operational aspects of the space, identify square footage and infrastructural needs, create build-out and operational budgets, and work with the larger board and other committees to raise funds. iMAGINE Events

This committee will organize events that raise awareness, fundraising, and networking and support the strategic direction of the board. Please email Robin Kershner at events@iMAGINEAlexandria.org.

iMAGINE Fundraising

Help the iMAGINE vision come to life by participating in the grassroots fundraising campaign. This committee will find appropriate donors, create donor networks, create create a model for sponsorship, research and apply for grants and corporate sponsorships, seek and secure in kind donations and creatively find ways to raise money through partnerships, events, and relationships. iMAGINE Communications

All communications regarding iMAGINE will be streamlined through this committee including social media aspects and database management. Please email Tate Linden at communications@iMAGINEAlexandria.org.
