Nancy Belmont
Belmont, Inc.

Nancy Belmont is the CEO and co-owner of Belmont, Inc. a creative professional services firm focused on strategic brand development and implementation.

Nancy leads the team of brand strategists, creative staff and project directors to serve clientele such as the U.S. Army, the U.S. Capitol Visitors Center, The British Embassy, Disabled American Veterans, as well as dozens of other for-profit, non-profit and association clients (including Foster Care Alumni Association of America).

Prior to co-founding Belmont, Nancy worked in the non-profit world as director of grants administration then consultant for Freedom House, a multi-million dollar organization that promotes democracy around the world.

Nancy served on the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce board of directors (2005-2007) and executive committee (2006-2007); completed two years as the Chairman (2005-2006) and still serves on the board of the Alexandria Small Business Development Center; and worked with the Fund for Alexandria’s Child Advisory Board to raise funds for Alexandria’s foster children. She completed Leadership Alexandria in 2005 and currently lives in Del Ray with her husband Dennis and three children.

Pam DeCandio is Vice President of Business Development with Burke & Herbert Bank & Trust Co. in Alexandria, VA. Ms. DeCandio has working in banking for fifteen years. She grew up in Alexandria and is active in several community organizations, including Imagine Alexandria, Leadership Alexandria, the Alexandria Police Foundation, and the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce.

Stokefire

Tate is Chief Thingnamer at Stokefire Consulting Group - a brand consultancy recently relocated to Alexandria. He's developed brands for companies such as ADP, General Electric, EMC, Columbia Sussex (owners of The Tropicana), Primark, and emPivot.

He's given talks and lectures to employees of Accenture, Canon, Deloitte, EMC, Fujitsu, HP, IBM, Kodak, The Washington Post, Xerox, and more than one hundred others. He is frequently quoted and interviewed by national and regional press - including appearances in The New York Times, The Herald Tribune, The Washington Business Journal, The Seattle Post Intelligencer, The Financial Post (Ontario), Star News, and The Times- News.

In his career he's been responsible for the launch of more than sixty products and services and for more than a hundred names and taglines. Tate is the spark-plug for Stokefire's creative engine. He may not develop every naming idea, but he ensures each project has ideas that are worthy of the Stokefire brand - and more importantly - the clients.

Erik Muendel

As Director and Executive Producer for Brightline Interactive, LLC, Erik leverages creative, strategy and management skills to develop and execute effective multi-channel interactive marketing campaigns for several digital mediums. (DVD, DVD-ROM, CD-ROM, and Flash-based experiences) His team-building skills result in industry awards, and the interactive campaigns he manages help national accounts meet strategic communication goals and improved brand awareness.

Brad Nierenberg
RedPeg Marketing

Throughout his career, Brad Nierenberg, a Fortune Small Business Best Boss, always knew that one day he would build a better, client-focused event marketing agency designed to empower employees, and inspire them to grow, dream and experience. Over a decade ago, he put together the foundation of that agency, and today, just ten years later, Brad leads RedPeg Marketing, an award-winning, 50-person marketing powerhouse with clients such as National Guard, Anheuser-Busch, JP Morgan Chase, GEICO and Del Monte. Brad is currently a leadership columnist in the Washington Business Journal.
